Thank You Food4Kids Teams!

June 8th, 2024|Categories: Latest News|Comments Off on Thank You Food4Kids Teams!

With this school year complete, we’re giving a Big Shout Out to this group of 12 volunteers from 2 local churches, Wylie United Methodist Church and Our Living Hope Global Methodist Church. They support the Food4Kids Program at Amazing Grace Food Pantry with both person power and financial support to ensure our less fortunate kiddos have weekend food.

On average, they deliver to area schools for 145 kids each week with a total for the 2023-2024 school year of 4676 weekend food bags.

Great Job – Huge Hearts!  See you in September!

Amazing Grace Food Pantry is exclusively a volunteer organization, relying upon the talent and generosity of community members to procure, sort and distribute over 60 TONS of food every month to area families. This monumental undertaking is only possible due to the altruism and support received each and every week from people just like you.

  • Do you have some free time on your hands?
  • Do you enjoy helping those in need?
  • Do you want to give back in some way that really changes the quality of life for someone?

We also welcome volunteer groups! If your church, youth or corporate group would like to schedule a day to volunteer as a team building exercise, or to regularly adopt group-size tasks (e.g. yard work, improvements, cleanup, etc.), we’d love to hear from you! Call (972) 292-7241 to leave a voicemail message or use use the contact form on our Volunteer page.

No time to volunteer? That’s okay, too! Visit our Donation page to arrange a monthly donation. No amount is too small!

Clark serves as the Director of Education for Amazing Grace Food Pantry.

I have a passion for helping people and making sure basic needs are met. I joined Amazing Grace FP because they are great people who treat people with dignity and have a heart to help others right here in Collin Co. Working here, and helping families puts a smile on my face.
